Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve, as we always do, with Shawn's family. Lizzie was a little cranky before we left and refused to pose for a family picture (so we had to take one without her!)

Once we got to Shawn's mom and dad's, we ate, and Lizzie promptly pooped all over her beautiful Christmas dress (before I could get a whole bunch of pictures with her in it.) Lizzie had fun visiting with her cousins and aunts and uncles. Here she is getting some hugs from Aunt Jeanette after she opened gifts from her.

After dinner, Grandpa Don brought out the Santa piñata and all the kids took turns whacking it. Lizzie looks a little unsure if this is the best thing to be doing the night before present drop-off.

Then we opened gifts from Grandma and Grandpa. Lizzie got a lot of great things from everyone - a tea cart with accessories, clothes, books, Barbies, princess dolls - and had a wonderful time playing non-stop with her cousins.
