Halloweening Begins

Ever since we've had kids (so, since last year), I've gotten a little crazy with Halloween. I don't know what it is that I love. The candy? The pumpkins? The socially acceptable excuse for making and wearing costumes? I just love all this day and all the Fall fun leading up to it.

So, naturally, I had to scope out all the very best Halloween activities to tide us over until the big day. Tonight, we went trick-or-treating at the local mall with Austin. Elizabeth is a Care Bear and Austin is Buzz Lightyear...

Lizzie's main costume (and our family costume) will be Alice in Wonderland, but tonight she pulled out the Care Bear outfit from her costume trunk for something a little different...

She is very determined to get some goodies in that pumpkin pail!
