Stocking Up on Baby Stuff

Shawn and I have been hitting the local garage sales this summer in search of baby items we might need in the future. Lately we’ve had a lot of success. For around $50, we now have an entire closet full of 0-6 month clothes:

We also found this diaper champ for $5 (I’m assuming it will still work with cloth diapers):

Huzzah! I am the reigning queen of baby bargains!

Shawn and I decided that whatever we don’t use, we will donate to the Cleveland Pregnancy Center. It’s a great organization that offers mentoring and support to expectant and current moms. If you live in the area and are looking to get rid of gently used baby items, they are a wonderful and deserving organization.

Shawn and I also picked up a Graco SnugRide car seat from Baby Depot:

We also ordered a crib. Apparently, since we are “special ordering” the item (they didn’t have the color we wanted in stock) it will take something like 12 weeks to come in. Here’s what the crib will look like (except ours will be cherry):
