Some Ideas for the Nursery

Since I am a writer and editor and former English major (and Shawn also thinks reading is cool), we thought it would be fun to decorate the future baby’s room in an alphabet theme. Here is the bedding set we chose:

We are going to run the border around the room like a chair rail (not at the ceiling, like in the picture), so we needed to choose a wall color from the border. We opted for green (Shawn’s favorite color). Here’s the wall color:

I know it looks a little dark for a baby’s room, but it actually dries to a much lighter, sweeter color in person. In fact, as I was painting I realized how much the walls looked like the color of a Shamrock Shake from McDonald’s. Delicious!
