First Haircut

Last night, Elizabeth had her first haircut. Her blonde curls are gorgeous, but were starting to look a little bushy, so Grandma and I scheduled her an appointment. My mom has been going to the same hairdresser, Jodie, forever (in fact, she is the same person who used to cut my hair when I was little!). She just trimmed her hair up a bit and now it looks much healthier and curlier.

The haircut turned out great and Lizzie was really well-behaved. She sat perfectly still while Jodie cut her hair and even let her blow dry it a little at the end. I think it helps that she watches me get ready every morning and so she's becoming accustomed to female beauty rituals.

I forgot to take pictures of the final haircut, but I'll post some soon! At least I remembered to take home some of the curls!
