Home Days

This weekend was our community's Home Days celebration and, like we do every year, we spent quite a bit of time there. Here's Shawn and Lizzie enjoying the view by the rides...

We also entered Lizzie in the cute baby contest. The competition was judged based on a photo (this is the one I submitted)...

So, she's super cute, right? Yet, when the results were announced, Elizabeth did not win! I ask you, what kind of a world is it where my gorgeous child does not win a cute baby contest?

That incredible miscarriage of justice aside, we had a lovely time at Home Days and we even got to meet our Congressman...

PS - I just know Lizzie is going to think she is the greatest thing since sliced bread thanks to us, but then again, if you can't get unconditional love and approval from your parents who can you get it from?
