I've been talking with J via email for the past few weeks. Everything's going well health-wise with her and with the baby. She also asked her doctor about the possibility of inducing at an earlier date. He was fine with it, so as of now, the birth is scheduled for March 13th. Wow.
Shawn and I are going to visit with her again next weekend. We're planning on having dinner near where she lives and just chatting. I can't wait!

PS - We also decided on a name. Shawn and I like Elizabeth, and J likes Lorelei, so we talked about it and decided to go with Elizabeth Lorelei. I think it's a gorgeous name and I'm glad it comes from both families.

and the dork i am, i totally think that you chose the name from Pride and Prejudice. And i love Lorelei because the name of the mom in Gilmore Girls. So if Elizabeth Lorelei is anything like those two characters shes going to be the coolest girl on the planet!

Thanks, Kara... Elizabeth is actually inspired by Pride and Prejudice. I also like the name Lorelei because it reminds me of the laurel plant and it's a beautiful name (I think Uncle Shawn secretly likes it for it's Gilmore Girls potential!).
Elizabeth is my middle name (name passed down in my family). Think it's a pretty sweet name, if you ask me :)
I think you should name her Crystal LaQuita.
